What’s Included?

If you registered BEFORE June 1st, 2021 you get:

a Capes 100 hoodie, a Capes 100 t-shirt, eligibility for excellent draw prizes, buckle for 100 mile finishers, drop bag service, insurance, and of course, a well marked and beautiful route with well stocked aid stations!

ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS: If you can help us out for an 8 hour shift, you’ll receive a Capes 100 t-shirt, a Capes 100 hat, Friday night meal (if offered), draw prize eligibility, and a free entry into any one of our races in the 2021 or 2022 season (excluding Capes 100).

The Fine Print

If you registered but cannot attend, contact us no later than June 15th, 2021 to get a 50% refund. No refunds after that date.  If you cannot race but can volunteer on race weekend 2021 (minimum 8hrs), you can get a deferral for the following year. No volunteering at the 2021 Capes = no deferral for 2022.

IMPORTANT: Transfers are not allowed because we have a wait list. Why?? If a local runner registered, but can’t do the race, they’d likely be able to find another local to transfer their registration to….while someone from a far away country sits on the waitlist waiting for a spot.

If only locals drop out and transfer their spots to other locals, no one would get in off the waitlist. We don’t think its fair to offer a waitlist and transfers, so we’re doing a waitlist only. Thanks for your understanding.

Note 1: if you register for the 100 miler or 88k and want to drop down to a shorter distance, you will not get the difference in the registration fee back. Sorry. Dropping down needs to happen no later than July 25th, 2021. No changes after July 25th.

Note 2: if you register for the 47k and want to ‘bump up’ to a longer distance, it can be done up to July 25th, 2021 (and send an e-transfer for the difference). No changes after July 25th.

Note 3: if there is a pre-race Friday night meal, the order will be placed on August 1st. No additional meal tickets can be purchased after this date.
